Do you like the Salvia experience?

Okay, I was just trying to find out roughly what proportion of people like the experience of salvia? I've read some sources that say that most people who try it never touch it again, yet it seems that others will keep coming back for more, even to the extent of using it daily.
I must say that I'm one of those who like it. I am still a newbie to Salvia, but I am intrigued by what she has to offer.
So, what's your opinion of Salvia?

It is quite amusing to watch people consume Salvia, especially large ammounts. I myself find the experience incredibly terrifying.

Salvia Is harder to understand than any other hallucinogen in my opinion. It just seems like a true entity takes over bathing one in light and tactile hallucinations. It is best to think about it after the experience and try to figure out those feelings. If you try to understand why it should be considered so interesting while tripping on it, you words will fail your intentions. There are no words in that place. I give it an A++
Its a metaphysical journey without words: examines the nature of reality, including the relationship between mind and matter, substance and attribute, fact and value.

No shit, I have a friend who smokes it like weed. He'll buy some extract and smoke it over and over again all day till its gone. I don't know how he handles it. I know he gets nothing from it, so he must do it just for the instant fuck-up and for the crazy ass visual/reality. Salvia's visuals are real, there's no factor of "hallucination" while you're on it.

salvia is hardly a substance to be enjoyed IMO. I wouldn't say I enjoy it, but I use it, and (try to) learn from it, integrate my experiences into a manufacturable understanding.
So, this poll doesn't cater to my opinion of it, how about an "other" option?

I don't "enjoy" it in the traditional sense like I enjoy smoking weed and feeling euphoric, but I gain alot from it and appriciate the experiances immensely. I'm sure most people would agree.

The first time I successfully did salvia I laughed like an idiot through the whole thing. Right as I exhaled the last hit, my whole body started tingling as through there were needles piercing me everywhere, and then all of a sudden... gravity shifted sideways! I was sitting on my bed so I just fell over in the direction I was being pulled. It took me a good 3-4 tries to stand back up since I had to counteract the now horizontal gravity. This all seemed ridiculous and amazingly amusing to me so I tried to communicate my experience to them. I couldn't stop slurring because my lips were being pulled back behind me ( the direction gravity shifted) so nobody was able to understand my reportage. At this point I gave up and just laughed at the hillarity of the situation until I came down.
Funny thing is one of my friend tried it about an hour after we all did it, and he experienced the exact same thing as me, a shift in gravity, in the same direction.... weird.

Minimal mind exploration. Very physical trip, utterly alien effects. Salvinorin A & B aren't even indoles or phenethylamines, those two are quite literally, freak of nature alkaloids.

I've got tons of salvia at home but it scares the shit out of me. I've only tried it 3 times, and that was back to back.
It was an enjoyable set of experiences, but the feeling of being forced back in to your chair by some massive force is a little unnerving.

i too like the taste and smell.. but only of the smoke. getting the actual salvia on your tongue is something else all together.. like eating old rubber or something.

As far as smoking it goes - no..It's far too intense for me anyways. I prefer the few pinches of extract into the mouth method way more. It's not nearly as intense but lasts longer.

so you just put a couple pinches of extract in your mouth like chew, or what? Ive tried it many times, but never felt anything. Ive even tried the liquid extract, which was like 99% ethanol so it was just as unpleasant, and still never had an effect on me.

i actually tried salvia for the first time last night around 9pm with my friend who has taken it before. i was stoned off my ass from smoking sour diesal and was like, lets go get some salvia man, i really wanna try it. we went to a local headshop(so many around downtown nyc) and picked up a gram of 21x extract.
we packed a bowl and he took the first hit. my friends face immediatley dropped and it seemed as if he tripped hard, but only tripped hard for like 10 seconds.
i took my first hit and as soon as i exhaled i felt my face getting hot and becoming real heavy and felt like my face was being stretched. not painful in any way, just a feeling i had. after that i began to laugh uncontrollably at every little thing for about 10 minutes. i also noticed that my tongue felt real heavy and i had trouble speaking, it felt real sluggish
it was probably the best and most laughable high ive ever hi actually really enjoyed my first time salvia experience, but i did not trip at all, just laughed so much for no eason and felt real heavy for such a long time. another thnig is, time seemed to go by so fast for the rest of the night. i came back home and fell asleep on my couch cuz i felt so lazy to go in bed and take my clothes off; but at the same time i had the msot relaxing night of sleep ever.
i ended up killing most of the gram of salvia with another person, taking numerous hits out of a bong. i had the same exact effects again. after about 15min of smoking salvia, i would zone out a lot and feel a bit confused at the same time - same feeling this other 1st time user i smoekd with was feeling. i might try it again today, i really did not get what i expected out of it - i thought i was going to be tripping and shit, whats up with this?

I've done it a couple of times and really like it. LIke others have said it's not like smokin weed but something else entirely. Some people are scared of the gravity changes, and the feeling of your skin melting off, but I enjoy it.
The last time I did it was with a 10x extract. After a second huge rip I felt the usual; left side of my face started sliding off, hard to talk, and all that junk. But about 20 seconds later I was pushed into another state of mind. I was in my apartment with a friend...I stood up and everything felt alien. I looked out the window and had no idea where I was even though I lived there. Then I proceeded to laugh HYSTERICALLY for about 10 minutes.

I've done Salvia many times in the past but in the last year or so I haven't touched it. It's a very interesting experience to say the least, but I don't enjoy it very much and may never do it again. A friend of mine does have some potent extract in case I do want to give it another try but it won't be anytime soon.

I used to enjoy smoking it, that is until I got split in half. Single most painful experience of my life. I've broken bones, came to during a surgery, etc nothing more painful that being ripped in two by lady Salvia.

Mmm... I'm kind of mixed. I don't usually get the same effects of drugs as other people. For example, I took acid one time... and I didn't see any trippy colors or anything like my friends did.. I just kept going in and out of a state of awareness.
Anyway, the times I have taken Salvia only produced effects that made me laugh very hard, for no reason. It was pretty fun, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to take it.

I actually am not one for mixing anything with salvia, but last night I took a couple of tokes of alright cannabis, and then one big hefty pull of 20x, held it in, turned out the lights, and....
.....man,
Once I sort of got my ego back, after about 90 seconds, it was AMAZING! The cannabis made my body feel absolutely fiiine...I was in a completly engulfing visionary state for maybe 25-30 minutes, and 45 mintues later the salvia's effects had worn off.
I think it just takes time to build up a relationship to this plant and the spirit that is housed within. She isn't always going to be gentle, but once you get to know her, you can get a lot out of the experience.
I can't even describe what I was able to do. Envision anything possible, HEAR anything possible, create amazing music in my head, see perfectly coherent asthetics that I would have never seen before, not to mention the infinite eye-candy of salvia space.
I think I'll try this combination again in a couple months.

It hides in many online shops, some of which are shroomery sponsors I believe.
Sometimes it can be located at ANY pipe/tobacco shop.
It's pretty easy to find, you don't even have to leave your house.

I would recommend a shroomery sponser, smoke/pipe shops tend to have high prices (sometimes outrageously inflated). BouncingBear and IAmShaman are both good sources for S. divinorum at very reasonable prices.
Just please don't purchase anything from salviasupply.com. They're part of the reason that this sacrament is on its way to being outlawed.

I love where Salvia takes me. I love how "crazy" I feel on it. I love that it makes me feel like I'm dreaming, sometimes. I love sex on Salvia. I love thinking I'm a pillow. I love not knowing who I am, not understanding anything that is "real", but making everything my own. I could go on...
I JUST LOVE SALVIA.

Salvia can only be described by one thing: (in a shaky, scared voice)"What the fuck?"
Every time I have ever done salvia I have repeated that same sentence (sometimes many times at once).
I vote, "I love the lady! she makes me feel goood inside..."

LOL... That site is hilarious. You've gotta love the advocism of escapism:
"Does work or school have you down? Do you need a mini mental getaway from the realities of everyday life? The Mind Bender will jumpstart your senses with three distinct psychedelic trips."
And promoting the idea of those who are still in school using these substances? WTF?

I know...it's truly awful. They actually have packages like "The Freshman pick" or etc...And they spell out exactly how these substances are "Just what you need to get away from it all!!" and "Guaranteed to send you on a crazy trip you'll never forget! DERP!"
I mean, to do that with Amanita muscaria? And aya-fucking-huasca? Can't even fathom the assholes behind this one.
I know that like half of us sent angry letters to them, but it still makes me sick just thinking about it. Maybe when S. divinorum is illegal in the near future they'll finally realize how, through greed, exploitation, and irresponsibility, they shot themselves in the foot.
