I really can't answer the question, but I don't know how it is possible for the managers to enter without your permission, isn't it against the law to do that?

i agree that its fucked up that they can enter as they please, but its happened twice. the inside of the coffee table will be lined w/ black plastic bags to cut down the risk of contams...i'll try to get some pics up of the whole set up tonight

go to the office and request that no one comes to your house w/o prior notice or you being there or change the lock!

Just do manual fanning. I suppose it is better to have more FAE. But I used to neglect my perlite terrarium. I'd only fan it every other day or every third day (Mind you it only had a few cakes in it) at they fruited the same as when I used to have an air pump on 24/7 along with manual fanning 4 times a day.
Also, I was going on a holiday for a few days when I need to fruit some H-poo trays. So I made a double tub with perlite humidification that worked just fine. Of course this is with casings not cakes which require higher Rh.

I would totally seal it off man. That poison is some tough shit. 8 hrs. of stagnant air isn't going to hurt too much.

Nice. Just open it up when you can to do a manual fan.

you should fasten a lamp to the tabletop and run the power Cord for the air pump up through the top of the coffee table and make it somehow look like the lamps powercord and they will never know at least i wouldn't.

Geez..thats really cutting it close, the ignorance of some people eh. (Even if it is their apartment.) I already have a feeling my lanlords are sneaking into my place when Im out...Word to the wise, never sign a lease agreement that doesn't state writen notice must be given a day prior if they need to inspect or do renovations.
I like your setup, its seems secure enough, although limited in size and space. I dont see the big deal about drilling a hole in the bottem of the table chamber and running the extension cord under a rug or somthing. Modifying things is the way too go!! ALSO, that things got hinges, why not rig up a lock get up?? Fuck if people get suspicious, atleast they wont ever know whats behind door number 1.
