Man, I remember a friend of mine began losing a good deal of hair at 16.
It sucks, and you can't even do much about it.

First of all, if you use hair products like gel or anything, stop. Stop wearing the beanie so often as well, that can contribute to it if you wear it constantly.

Lastly, find a girl who's not a superficial cunt and you'll be solid.

I started receding at 13. I'm 18 now. Dosen't bother me anymore.
I keep my head shaved.
Shaved head=sexy. letting your hair grow into a monk ring= really gay.
I take the beany route when i don't get a chance to shave my head for awhile.
Buy a pair of $10 clippers, learn to shave your hair. Don't even fuck with it. Just put it on its lowest setting, and take it all off.
If you get into a career wher you don't need to deal with people, you can tattoo your head.

well shaved head for me is def. not sexy. i'm a very white boy. i'd look like a cancer patient if i shaved my head. i prefer long shaggy hair, not too long though. it bothers me though because when i'm walking my hair moves and you can see really how far back my hairline goes. it looks ugly, and makes me look uglier.

so there's no solutions? i have been taking biotin if that helps any.

I tried the long hair thing too, it dosen't work at a certain point.

Anyway its one thing to want to look good. But don't get down on yourself because of the way god made you. Like that dude said in 40 year old virgin.
UGLY DUDES CAN GET WOMEN TOO. A receding hairline isn't the end of the world.
Once you stop caring about how other people think of the way you look, you'll gain some confidence. If you have enouph confidence, you can do anything.

i know my hairline isn't the end of the world. it just bugs the shit out of me because i would just like to have semi-long hair and be able to run without my enormous forehead/hairline showing.

Finasteride is the only product I know of that can reverse hair loss in the area you described. Minoxodil works only on hair loss on the crown of the head.

Fincar is the generic version of finasteride and is much cheaper.

If you take it you will most likely not reverse your hair loss, but keep what hair you have much longer. The rate of hair loss should slow dramatically.

Fincar is available online without a prescription from certain pharmacies.

Forget about it. Learn to live life as a bald/ing man.
Wigs don't fool anyone, and can provide comedy for the general public at inoportune moments.
I saw a guy that had some kind of weird hair transplant at the 7-11. Looked like little groups of wiskers growing out of the front part of his head. I couldn't stop staring.
You could try Rogaine, and shit like that.
But the truth is, most of that crap dosen't work.

Say it loud, I'm bald and i'm proud!

i have really thin hair, and as you i love long hair, but i had to make the decision to get it cut short, and im glad i did. some peoples hair looks badass long, others dont. gotta take the hand you got dealt.
if i was you id bite the bullet and get it cut short. sooner or later this is going to be your only option...might as well get used to it now before you get too attached to the longness.

Trully, I don't believe it's possible to get your hairline to refurbish. Male pattern hair loss involves the conversion of testosterone to a chemical that thins out the front hairs for some reason.

If Biotin doesn't work, try Rogaine. If that doesn't work try looking at yourself differently. Self respect should be internal more than external.

Receding hairline is said to be caused by excessive testosterone levels, but I dont believe everything I read.

Self confidence is important, but so is being realistic, you have a receding hairline, so what?  Be bald and proud.

Judging yourself on your appearance can only take you so far...  You can pick a style of clothes to wear, you can pick a way to walk, you can regulate your speech patterns AND you can pick your attitude.  Just pick a good attitude brother

God could only bless so many heads with hair...

One way of telling if you're more inclined to baldness is whether or not your mother's father is bald. The gene responsible for male pattern baldness is passed to you from your mother, so, technically, a boy can bald before his father does.

Another explanation could be stress.

I have a pretty far back hairline, too. Not balding yet, though, thankfully.

Im going bald and im 23, i always had thin hair but baldness just runs in the family.
I try not to let it bother me, most bald people suit being bald. When i am bald i will still be me.

I carn't wait for that bit that sticks up on my crown to disappear, thats been pissing me off all my life !

But yeah, dont worry about it, its a slow thing and people will get usta it.

I beleive this is a factor but not teh main thing. My brother is only 2 years older than me and his hair is receding big time, and my hair grow like a weed.

Intentions..

when you wear that beanie, and if you do not think about it, then it might be that your body thinks: "hey he wears a hat, then I need not grow any hair to protect this head, .. as there is a beanie" ..

I know this may sound crazy, and if it does, my bad!

But I think we can intend 'it', just like we move our fingers..
it is just that when you move a finger, you get instant result.. ..thus, need no "instant" faith! ..

yea man i dont have the best hairline either and im only 18, its not really noticable now but in a couple of years ill probably have to do something, I plan to enjoy my twenties at least with a full head of hair. i think i could accept it in my 30's.

There are things you can do, there are products out now that can STOP your balding and even help new growth, there are even home lazers u can use now that have proven to stop and encourage growth, google the net for products. if the balding is stopped it will buy u time until a newer product is released, which i can predict wont be too long at all. I know no one wants to be a slave to products, but when it starts getting bad for me i know would definitely prefare to swallow a pill a day rather than lose my looks in my 20's ( i would look ridiculous bald). so if u wanna do something u should, after all there has never been a better time in history to treat baldness

stop wearing a beanie, hairlines receed normally in most men around the ages of 18-22, doesn't mean your going bald it just fits into a normal adult hairline- unless you have the gene it shouldn't go much longer but inproper scalp problems or excessive fucking with your hair can make it worse.

Get a haircut, and wait it out, short hair also looks a lot fuller
