I want to start utilizing this and maybe bringing in some small revenue. Mostly I just want to see how it works, so I thought I would give it a sot (once my site is up)
Does anyone here use this on there site? I know it's used here, so I thought maybe one of teh admin's could fill me in.
Is it worth it? Do they send a cheque? Pro's....Con's...? What's your take on it, etc... Let's talk about Adsense!

Before setting up our Adsense account, we contacted Google to make sure our site was acceptable for inclusion into their program. They assured us it was. After a few months they canceled due to our focus on illegal substances. However, they paid us what they owed us and the only thing that left me a little annoyed was our effort up front to be sure everything was cool didn't matter.
You can make a lot of cash if you have a site related to high-paying keywords. They are dozens of websites out there about maximizing your Adsense revenue so I suggest your pursue them. Anno also knows a little more about this than I do.
Peace,

I use it in my blog. Make sure you read the contract over thoroughly. A big thing to make sure you do not do is tell people to click the links. They can and will cancel your account for that. They expect that people click the links out of their own interest, not because they want you to.

Yea I was reading, some people get there accounts canceled even if they suspect fraudulent clicks, or 'bots'.
So all-in-all it sounds like it's not a bad thing, the ad's aren't really that obnoxious, and they add a little revenue. Now to develop a site with 100,000+ hits.............

My site averages right around 1000 hits per day and the Adsense revenues are meager, at best.

hmmm,
If i'm on a website, and i like it, I'll click an ad once or twice. If there are ads.
Everyone should do that.

I agree, and do the same thing. The problem is, many people don't know that you get paid for those ads, and with the contract you agree with, you aren't allowed to provoke them into clicking them.

Exactly - you can't even risk suggesting the possibility of perhaps clicking them, because if you do, and google blacklist you - then you are fucked. Google don't give a shit about you and your site, they deal with millions of dollars worth of revenue streams, and it's cheaper to permanently blacklist you than review your case and see if you deserved the ban stick.
don't fuck with google
