Water in Spawn Bag

I made up a few spawn bags from scratch, it was actually an interesting process in of itself, but a concern just popped up after I inocculated them today.
I did everything by the book as far as grain preperation. Soaked over 24 hours, drained about 25 minutes until it didn't drip, pressure cooked for 90 minutes at 12 psi.
Everything looked great and then I injected my spawn bags with LC I had made. These bags had around 5 cups of grain in them, so that is more than your normal quart jar, which is around 2.5 cups when room is left for shaking. Anyways I had a bunch of LC and decided to use 30ccs into each bag. Considering the grain was fully saturated, any addition of water would result in a puddle in the bottom of the bag. So that was the case.
These bags arn't so bad in my opinion but I was wondering how bad water in the bottom really is. Considering this was LC, the water is honey water with myc in it already. If myc can grow fine in just this solution, why would it be a bag thing to have some sit in the bottom? And these we just made, so I do expect some small amount to used up by the myc and to evaporate.

I always put some vermiculite in spawn bags (or jars) just to soak up any extra liquid. Your mileage may vary.

in my experience any standing water gets effed. you might be ok though its only happend a few times to me. next time toss in some dry or slightly damn verm so you can soak up that lc water. when i have slightly wet jars i just leave them with their foil hat of which dryes them out a bit more or run a fan over the to dry em out for a few days then put the hat back on and do the normal thang.

Well I don't have the foil hat on. I took it off shortly after I took them out of the PC. After playing around with my bags I think I might have over stated my problem. I pinched an area of the bag so that I can turn the bag over and only water can run to the area and I could see how much exactly there was, and I there was only a drop or two... I suppose when mixed with seeds it looked more of a problem then it was. I also have been rotating the bag to evenly distribute the water around to prevent puddling. A bag I made yesterday had the same problem and I checked today and it was fine... so I think I am just paranoid.

UPDATE:
Well heres another great thing about spawn bags. If there is too much water in the bag, simply apply some silicone glue to a spot, poke a syring in there and suck out any water thats there.
Thats what I did and I got around 3cc of extra water in one bag and about 1 cc from the other. I think I saved my ass by doing that.
Since I am in the middle of a post, I might aswell ask. How bad are exploded seeds that turn to a mushy starch sludge. If you are supposed to simmer until bursted seeds, this must be expected, but it just doesnt look good and I think could be similiar to excess water because of how moist these bursted seeds are.
Glad I decided to do something about this before it was too late.

As long as you're sterile, sounds good
BUT, if you have standing water then more than likely your seeds are WAY to wet. I've messed up on so many jars, and hit the learning curve HARD (its a bitch lol).
I remeber Agar saying that it's not what you want...But it isn't necessarily a bad thing...unless you have burst seeds sitting in standing water....
I think it's just not good just because of the water it holds...Which is like max. capacity...and then some ...Like a sponge FULL of water that starts making a puddle outward...
I'm not into simmering at all anymore, lots like 12 jars due to the problem you're talking about (burst seeds)...

Thanks Gnostic, always value your opinion. The reason I believe there was so much water was because I was a bit over zealous with the LC, prior to inocculating there was no standing water. And infact I injected around 30cc in each and there was only 1-3 ccs of water standing so I think my other steps where good.
I just had all this LC and was compulsed to use it all, my mistake.
