new to hunting
    #5499320 - 04/10/06 10:09 AM (17 years, 9 months ago)

I have recently decided to try out shroom hunting. Unfortunately, I need advice. I live in an undesirable location, upper mid-state tn. I meet a person that was here hunting morel. Not anything I have tryed!! Open minded though. Any suggestions? I would like to start some my own little garden, if possible in this region. Looking for any help I can get.

Morels are choice edibles and non-actives. I look for them every year myself. Spring is the time of year to search for em.
If by "garden" you mean indoor or outdoor cultivation of mushrooms, you should post questions about it in the cultivation forum or "gourmet and medicinal mushrooms", depending on what kind you are interested in cultivating.

I would love to have a group of different species. How do you go from a wild morel to getting spores and cultivating. Opps, wrong forum. Sorry. Thanks though, I have a lot to learn.
