Incubation variety.

From past experience, I presumed that my incubation timing would be different for different strains. AFOAF is growing B+, Cambos, Eq's, Dixie's, and GT's. The B+ and Dixie's have blown up in growth over the seven days that he's had them incubating around 84 degrees while the cambo's and Eq's are showing little to no growth at all.
My question asks if this is normal? I know he shouldn't expect them to colonize all at the same time, but it seems incredibly slow to me. He's also made three LC's consisting of Cambo's, GT's, and Eq's in hopes of being able to reinject the jars that are colonizing too slowly to promote more growth. The Cambodian LC is nearly done after 4 days, but the other two are showing no growth at all.
What could he have done wrong in this situation dealing the the LC's themselves? I've ruled out the syringe because the Cambo LC took off in growth while his rye Cambo's are slowly progressing and the GT rye is exploding with growth while the LC shows nothing at all.
I'm just looking for generic timeframes from old hands.
Thanks!
*LC's are malt and dextrose using Agars method.*

patience? some go fast some go slower. its has to do with moisture temp if your incubator has pockets that vary plus its a multy spore inoculation so you could even have one B+ be quite a bit faster then another.
