I got a bit impatient as to why all my casings have been consumed for the most part by mycelium and 12 days later no fruiting..
so normal or not I lifted some of my casing mix to see how moist the perlite at the bottom was.. It was bone dry,, is this why I have no fruit? So is it possible im not fruiting because the myc hasnt enough moisture to fruit?
ALSO.. I accidentally found two casings at another grow site of mine fully soaked. A major mistake of mine the night before but either way/. Am I screwed that I let the casing mix get too wet or am I safe since its only be 18 hrs or so and I can just let them air out?
Help me am I screwed?

Your putting perlite under your casing mix? So between the colonized substrate and the casing layer? Or underneath the substrate? In either case it's completely unnecessary and could be harmful if anything.

I tried using perlite under my casing before. It worked out ok, so I dont think that is your problem. If you look at my pics I have up I had some casings that were pretty much completely covered in myc before pinning. It was my first grow and it took what seemed like forever to pin. Just be sure to keep your RH up and keep your patience up too. You will get pins and be having fun about 8 days afterward.
