Can anyone post a pic of the holes or tell me what size they are? I want to make sure I get the exhaust holes in this FC I'm making the right size. It's a 52 Gal rubbermaid with only as cool mist hooked up to it. Right now I have 2 holes on the bottom that are 1/4inch each.

I'd put at least four holes top and bottom of at least 1 inch. You want lots of air exchange. RR

but he does have a cool mist hooked up to it, wont that provide the air exhange?
I am considering the same setup, tub-on-tub, with mister hooked to top, wont the bottom holes only be to allow excess water collection to exit - or are they even necessary?

well look at it this way. You're sending air into the tub, so the same amount of aair is going to want to escape so it can be in equilibrium. The pressure in the tub will escape from any opening it can, I just wantot make sure it's enough area for it to escape. I'm putting them on the bottom because that's where the water will colloect (thus I can have a collection plate under each hole) and that's where teh CO2 settles, and where it will be the easiest for it to esacpe. I have increased the size of the holes to 5/8inch (2 of them still), but I'll take RR's advice and give it more holes. I'll put in 2 more on the back 2 corners (to make 4 5/8inch holes).
RR, should I expand all the holes to 1 1/4 inch holes (I only have bits 5/8 and 1 1/4) on the bottom, or should I have the holes be 5/8 and just have more than the 4 on the bottom?

Two holes on the bottom and the cool mist is all it needs.
