Does anyone know how to make the come down a little less nerve racking?

Coffee helps me, may be different for you.
Have any anti-anxiety medication? Klonopin, xanax, ativan, etc

You bring up a point that I haven't thought about
Coffee is definitely an addictive substance. Maybe getting the "fix" is what helps the come down.
Perhaps abstaining from an addictive substance for a few days before the trip, and then partaking during the come down would dramatically increase the calming effect. Or maybe you just like coffee, lol. I'll try this though. It couldn't hurt.

I've always found that smoking a doob is good for the comedown. That said, I can't say i've ever enjoyed the comedown experience, it's always difficult. I've wanted to drop an E, so i'm peaking on that as i'm coming down. I guess the comedown after that would be even worse, but could be good.

I've always loved the comedown, that moment in time where your thoughts are becoming more clear-headed, you're still overwhelmed with a feeling of euphoria, you've just had a great trip, lying down with a blunt in one hand and a cigarette in the other is like saying "Life's a bitch, now SUCK MY BALLS BITCH!"
If you really have a problem with the comedown though (I usually get a feeling that something's 'different' once the euphoria wears of, it feels kinda of like a sketchy, cracked out feeling, the same you'd get after drinking 5-8 cups of coffee without the stimulation)I'd suggest have a couple drinks. Just enough to loosen yourself up a bit so your mind wont concentrate on it and will eventually just forget about it.

I find it interesting that the come down adversely affects some people. For me, the come down is just my way of knowing things are returning to normal. It's actually quite disappointing to know that the trip will be over soon.

That's exactly it. For me, shrooms are very much escapism. When I realise that i'm coming down, I get all the mundane realities of life crashing back all at once. The last trip I had was the only one that left me with an afterglow which was nice. It was also the only time i'd took just 1g, which is interesting.
