Cool Story

Last Friday, my brother came down to help me move. He wanted to go a Denver Nuggets game. He said that it would be a great "payment" for helping me move. I told him that my being his brother should be payment enough, but obviously that didn't work. So we moved shit all day and we finished around 6:45pm with the game starting at 7. I live about 10 mintues away from the Pepsi Center, so we raced down there and found out that scalpers were asking WAY too much for tickets, of course. I didn't have that much cash on me anyway.
So, we walk up to the ticket lines, there were 4 of them, completely packed with people. It's now 7:05, game starts in 10 minutes. I'm thinking for sure we're not going to get in, there's no way in hell. All of a sudden this guy taps my brother on the shoulder and says "Just the two of ya?" "Yes sir," my brother replies. "Here ya go." The guy says and walks away. Now, my bro and I were kinda shell shocked, not really being able to think for a bit. So I guess we kinda assumed they were nosebleed section tickets. We make our way up the escalators to the 3rd floor, hand our tickets to the security lady and she says "Uhhh....guys, these are courtside tickets, 6th row up from the court, down there." And she points over the railing. Sure enough, the tickets say, Section 101, Row 6.
Best seats I've ever had in my life. The Nuggets were playing the Timberwolves and Kevin Garnett and Kenyon Martin were jawwing with eachother all night. You could hear the players talking to eachother as the game was playing. It was fucking sweet. Best sporting event of my life.
Yep.

You've gotta love random acts of kindness. It makes the world worth living in.

Yes, $199.00 a ticket is some great kindness.
