IF the jars are too wet what happens?

I know it slows down colonization times, but does it also invite contams? My problem is i was PCing my jars and didnt put any tin foil on the top and i guess the condinsation from my jar dripped into my jars and made them a little bit more wet.

If the jar is too wet, the growth could stall. I've had jars that looked too wet, and even had some starch at the bottom. I shook it up to distribute the starch and it colonized ok. If you think they're too wet, inoculate one jar and wait. Letting the rest sit for 5-6 days shouldn't present any problems as long as they were properly sterilized.

The moisture comes from condensation on the lid of the pressure cooker that constantly rains down on the jars below. That's the reason for the foil. I'd start over and get it right. Don't waste spores getting off on the wrong foot.
