how the brain works

Not to advertise something here, but i really recommend for everyone to watch "what the bleep do we know".

It's a very well-made movie about quantum physics and the brain. alot of it is really just concepts and theroies, but im pretty sure some of it is proven. like how there is a gland in our brain that makes the chemicals that allow us to feel different emotions, and how its triggered, and the 'addiction' concept really makes sense. Also, that we only see a fraction of what is really there.

it pertains to drugs in a big way when you think about how shrooms and such change our perceptions, but i geuss that's just my opinion.

i agree, its great, but the new age ladies (ramtha and the other one) realllly really bug me.  especially the columbus story.

whether or not thats close minded, i understand the theories, perhaps its just the terms they use, and the clothes they wear

ya..the columbus thing is pretty dumb when you think about how many new things you see when your growing up, and haven't seen anything like them before.
