When I do cased grains on occasion (for making a few prints of a strain), I would use this runoff to soak/steep my grains for a little extra nutes. Contamination was not a factor since I PC'd the grain afterwards. It works ok. I did however leave a pot of this poo water out for about a week where I do my pasteurization, and when I returned a week later, it was a nasty, stinky mess. I don't think it would be useful in dunking. It would invite in an army of contams. It works great for watering your garden, though .

The first time I pasteurized poo using the pillow case tek, I saved the water I squeezed out of the poo when draining in a big water jug.
I was planing on using it for cakes. When I opened the jug back up a few weeks later......It let out some build up pressure C02 I think, and man that smell was absolutely disgusting I almost gaged.

What you're proposing would work if mushrooms could be grown hydroponic. However, mushrooms don't suck up nutrients the way plants do, but rather digest what they eat. It's the substrate the mushrooms are consuming. That's why our cakes and bulk substrates always shrink during the flushing cycle, even when we dunk between flushes.
Additionally, the runoff from pasteurizing straw is mostly dirt anyway, and possibly has other chemical or pesticide residues. Mine gets dumped down the toilet. RR
