Health Risks

I recently had myself a couple trips one day after the other. Not the best idea, I know, but ever since I've been having really bad heartburn. I'm starting to get pretty concerned and I think I'm going to go see a doctor on monday, and I wondered if anybody could answer a couple questions for me. could this possibly be something that was caused by eating too many mushies. I had 2.5 grams one day and 3 the next. as far as I know, that's not that much but I need a/some second opinion(s). my second question is, should I bring the fungi factor up when I see the doctor.

You could try changing your diet for a couple days. Cut out fried food, chocolate, caffeine, cigarettes, and alcohol. Take some heartburn pills if you got em.
If changing your diet doesn't help, go to the doctor. Don't mention the mushrooms right off the bat. Just tell him/her you've been having heartburn and let them do their thing.

I wouldn't bring up the fungi factor at all. Too much anxiety and problems could arise.
Take some time for yourself. Like daimyo said, clean up your diet and treat yourself. Eat some antacids and you'll be fine hopefully. I've personally never had too much problem with acid reflux, but I don't think it's caused by mushrooms.
Your body and mind are a temple and you don't want to endanger or exhaust them. Do the right thing and take care of yourself, don't dwell on what you've done and just relax as you honestly see fit.
That, and spend some time on the shroomery. I find that it's always food for what ails you. Even though I pretty much post in sporatic stints, I spend a lot of time skimming and searching through the billions of threads. It always cheers me up and puts me in a positive mood.

well thank you all for the advice. I have cut way way way back on everything I do that would cause such a problem. unfortunately the thing that hurts the worst is simply eating. even if I cut back on smoking and quit drinking I still get these burning pains when I eat food. even when I eat the right kinds of food. but I am staying positive. the reason I was so suspicious about the mushies was because I'm only 21 and I've never had any sort of heartburn problems ever, and this just happened to start being a problem right after I tripped a bit excessively. at this point after going over the site quite extensively I've pretty much ruled out mushrooms being the cause of my problem. I have felt better today than yesterday so I don't think I'll go to the doctor. but just out of curiosity what sort of medical problems could be caused by mushrooms, and how much would you have to eat for those problems to arise.

AFAIK, ulcers. And I think it's bull shit anyways.
I honestly haven't eaten a real dose of shrooms in about a year or two... and the last few times were only around a gram, taking in the form of tea so... yep.
You could always make mushie tea and chase with lemon juice or something of that sort to potentiate the effects. The Psychedelic Experience forum has a great thread. I always do things like this. Opiates for example are only taken with marijuana, same goes with dxm. I don't like to trash my body. I don't even drink lol
