Anyone eating cactus without cooking into a tea? Just eating it?

Dried powder in particular, but fresh cactus too.
Have you always boiled it up or have you ever eaten it cold? Would a dried powder be well absorbed if eaten as it is, or does it really need to be cooked to make the actives available?
Thanks dudes

if i could do it again i'd eat the powder or put it in a huge volume of liquid so that it doesn't completely jellify so you can drink it.
i wasted too much product boiling unsuccesfully and didn't trip.

You only eat the Peyote cactus. All other cactus needs to be juiced in a HQ Juier then boiled down to 2-4 shots of goo then put on parchment paper in the oven at 200F for 3 hours until it gets crispy and you can make powder out of it. San Pedro.....waste of time...too weak. Torch or Bridgesii is good.

Eat the fresh cactus raw with lemon juice and salt. cut the ribs from the core and eat that shit like celery sticks. the salt and citrus juice help cover the taste. so does ranch dressing. this is not for the weekminded or stomached. eating it becomes just as much of an experience as tripping off it. This is how real men do it!

The first and only time so far I tried it, that's what I did. Cut it into slices and made a salsa with it with tons of lime and salt. Definitely not something to take lightly, I ate that shit for hours out of sheer willpower and still only managed to get down enough for a light trip. It was San Pedro for the record. That was years ago and the taste is still with me enough to not have tried it a second time.
I'm going with a tea or tar next time.

It's all about the Mescaline extraction. I don't trust the cactus to give me the dosage I want. Gotta pull those crystals out and dose em yourself.

To even get decent visuals one needs to consume 14-16'' of Bridgesii cacti at 2.5-3'' diameter and that is too much to eat and will most likely cause 85% of people purge. That can be juiced and reduced down to powder which can be easily put into capsules or eaten. You get the same exact experience.

San Pedro is too weak man. Bridgesii is much stronger. Make a tea and reduce it down to 2-4 shots and put that on parchment paper in the oven at 200f for 3 hours then find a way to consume the crispy texture.
