Could this problem be caused by direct sunlight?
Thanks

It would seem you have two problems. Direct sunlight for more than a couple hours a day is 1 (preferably morning sun only) and then overwatering is a second. The dried leaf edges are more likely due to the sun exposure. Salvia likes indirect light. Also are these plants indoors? If so you might wanna relocate them away from HVAC air flow. Once you take these steps try to mist them less and less until ultimately you stop misting them altogether.

HVAC is heavy air-conditioning, correct? Well I have a fan on my plants is that bad?

HVAC is a heating/air conditioning duct. I think my problem was misting too much.
