Going to the Spore shop, what to get? what to get?

ok, i suppose threads like this abound, but forgive me, i have a very slow internet connection and browsing is quite cumbersome for me. I was going to grow some psylocybe cyanescens (spores in hand) but it appears that an outdoor grow is the only viable method availible to me and woudl not produce fruits until fall. So, in the meantime, i want to buy some other spores that are easy for a newbie to grow and give great results. I suppose the cubensis family would be my first place to start, but it seems that there are more than one type of cubensis (for instance thai- pink buffalo, mexican, yatta yatta.)Anyway, i'd rather not just grow the run-of-the-mill mexican cubensis that everyone seems to have (when there are mushrooms around, they always seem to be mexican cubes) so can any of you more experienced growers suggest a good interesting newbie strain? i've been browsing ralphsters spores and theres just so many! thanks for your help TM

Well, a cube is a cube, lol. They only have SLIGHT differences to be honest.
I'd go with PE (Penis Envy)...Simply because they're meaty...lol.
Or Creepers, they're my favoraites, they always turned dark on the caps and looked really round and somewhat thick...
All cubes are relatively easy to grow, so you can't really make a mistake
Pans are hard to grow...For the unexperienced grower anyways...Glad you're starting somewhere though
Good luck

It kind of depends on what you want out of it. B+ is pretty much the easiest, most forgiving strain. Most spore vendors will ahve little blurb about each strain.

Maybe that particular vendor doesn't have that particular strain...It's not a rare strain so I'm not sure why they don't have it.
Creepers..let's see...The caps look kinda golden when they get big, (like most cubes), and yet they alway have good spacial relations...lol..Like cap to stem ratio...Not that this particular stain has the gene or anything, it's jsut what I got 9 times out of ten ya kno?...
Plus they're called creeper, what's cooler than that?
My other favoraite i totally forgot about ....K.S.S..Kohi Super Strain...
They look GD beautiful if you grow them on poo...They get an orangish redish color and damn, beautiful looking mushroom.
If you can't find creepers, I'd def. check out K.S.S

Mazapatek is an easy grow. Fruits w/o temp drop. Good trip for beginners. All around easy and forgiving. So I hear.

Golden Teacher, they are beautiful, and from what I understand they dont loose alot of weight when you dry them.
