I wouldn't bother trying to use bird/chicken waste. Try doing a search on dung, or compost, rather than manure. If you are feeling exotic, take a look at www.zoodoo.com.

There's a chicken farm a few kilometres from where I live, and whenever we get a breeze from the east (which is rare, thankfully) the most foul and horrible smell hovers over the whole neighbourhood. Chicken crap is by far the most foul smelly of all animal feeces. I wouldnt have that shit in my house.... *shudders*

It is very hot, you have to compost it first. That product is a granular fertilizer, not a compost.

Chicken manure is to high in nitrogen to work it will burn up your mycellium.
You could tone it down with cow manure or worm castings it should work then.
4to1 wormcasings to chicken manure should do it.
