I picked up some horse poo today, and had a talk with owners of the ranch. I found out that the H/Poo I took was mixed with wood chips/shavings. I know most people use h/poo with straw but will my H/poo with wood shavings/chips do just as well once pasteurized?

It won't hurt anything. Cubensis can actually colonize wood. It just won't be as nutritious as pure hpoo

I compost hardwood shavings into my hpoo. 80% Hpoo, 20% Hardwood. Wood provides lignin (a good thing), and give the mycelium channels to help run through the substrate. Too much wood can be a bad thing though.
131 grams grown on the aforementioned mix, and potent as hell.

Thanks for the info. To my best guess it looks like I have a 70-30% mix of h/poo to wood shavings. I'm going to dry it out and pasturize on the 10th.

make sure the wood chips arent from conifers. Some trees contain natural fungicides which inhibt and prevent any mycellium growth. wood isnt bad, but it needs to be the right wood.

Hey coda, if the sawdust/woodchips are leeched and dried along with the poo, would that take care of the fungicides?

Thats a great question Rahz. I will be leeching so I hope that it takes care of conifers, and then pasteurize twice at 180 F for 1.5 hours.
