I enjoyed discussing things with swami, at times, especially when you could tell he was high or inebriated, he was less serious.
But, here is part of my problem with the whole thing: Someone would ask "why?", and swami would say "Why not?" and you guys would start swooning over the philosophical ramifications, the simplistic rebuttal, the genius of the scientific logic used to come to that conclusion.... stuff like that.
I would also like to see icelander and veritas come back if they already havent. Maybe we can have Amnesty day where all the damned can announce their puppets, or rejoin if they dont have puppets.

I seriously doubt that they are still here, but perhaps they do check in from time to time. I know that Icelander in particular keeps in contact with a few individuals from this forum, and I'm sure he'd be glad to hear from others as well.
 Peace.

but seriously, swami's debate tacticks were bs, if someone writes a paragraph hell pick out a sentence and debate the freakin sentence. divide and conquer type shit, thats too easy, and not productive in any fashion.

Productive, challenging, and entertaining.... There are different ways to debate - going after the "weakest link" in a chain is certainly a way of debating.... Should we ban every person that uses this method....? It is always YOUR choice to continue, or not....
I enjoy most everybody's posts on here - when I get a chance to read them.... It is all about individual perspective at play with other unique perspectives, and some people just take words on a screen to damn seriously/personally....!?
Chat forums/message boards = entertainment....

i have learned alot from the shroomery, ive learned how to grow mushrooms, ive learned many things from the diverse people on here, lots about different opinions and viewpoints, it is not just entertainment to me, i do get entertainment but i dont look at it as that. i look at it a chance to converse with some degree of like minded people, i mean if u registered here , and i registered here, we all must have something in common even at the most basic of levels.

Agreed.... Like minded people that like to experiment in different states of consciousness in one way or another(for the most part, some form of drugz~).... In reference to the topic/person of this thread, Swami was one of those people with some of the same common interests as us all.... No....?
This place is like an interactive Cable TV - with many different channels to suit the pallet.... There are even commercials/sponsors at the top of each screen....! When you watch the Discovery channel, and learn a bunch of stuff that you didn't already know, is it not still a form of entertainment...?
(When I said ""It is always YOUR choice to continue, or not...."" I was referring to continuing a debate....)
It is all fun and games until someone pokes an "I" out....

anyways, if u remember his post count it was like 20,000. and im sure like 90 % of those were in P & S , so if you look at it statiscally, most of his posts contained little or no Actual Content.

Consider that the universe contains little to no actual content. This only furthers the mountian of evidence that dear Mr. Swami was cosmically, as well as comically, significant and certianly is the one true representative of God on our planet.

Eeeeh, who's keeping score....!?
Most of my posts don't have any "actual content" either, as I usually pull the (stupid)humor card nowa~ days....

This thread has been closed.
Reason: So heres the deal. Swami's gone NOT because of his views...but because he ignored the rules of this website, and laughed at the thought of them.
This thread had been closed not because of the content herein, but because it has nothing to do with P&S....just a former member.
