I thought me and FungusHungry were tight. Turns out the dude ripped off a whole bunch of shroomerites for a lot of money. I still think its possible that the post office was seizing all his packages that month, but not probable.

I haven't met any shroomerites IRL but I'd back a few i'm sure. This place has a good moral compass going for it. A big group effort type thing.
I need to meet some Texas shroomerites though... Summer is coming around and me and all my friends (3 haha - that like to do shit anyway) usually try and go rafting, tubing, camping, or hit up a few festivals/concerts.

In the end, this is the internet. Its hard to trust someone who you'v never met, or see mabey a few times a year. I once set up a trade with a user named Under_Net. Old member, Huge contributer in the Cult forum. Seemed like a good guy. Mother fucker ripped me off for my copy of The mushroom cultivator, and abandoned his account. I wouldn't be surprised if he still posts here under a different username.

Indeed. I once saw a friend of mine make a drunken ass out of himself at a party and get his ass kicked. I drove him out of there as fast as I could, but I wasn't gonna fight those guys for him, partly because I would've gotten my ass kicked too, and partly because he kind of deserved it.

Backing someone, no matter what, doesn't mean you support their stupid decisions. It means you help them deal with the reprecussions as best you can. For example, if a friend had an out of control drug habit. "Backing them up" wouldn't mean making sure they can get as much of the drug as they need and let them continue to spiral. Backing them up means helping them get out of the hole they've dug. Obviously there is a point at which, if they don't want any help, you can't do any more. Part of being a good friend is realizing that too, it's just the hardest part.
I think I had a point in there somewhere. Not sure what it was though.

That's the way to do it. You don't have to beat someone up to prove your friendship. Getting your friend out of a bad situation with as little drama as possible is way better. Unless you think getting you and your bud charged with assault or who knows what else is the true meaning of friendship?
