Finding a new place to live?

Well, I am moving to Orange county from Pennsylvania, and am having a hard time finding something I consider suitable for living. I am looking for a townhome, because I am a light sleeper, and people annoy the hell out of me when the live above me and stomp around. I've checked apartments.com, and craiglist, but I can't seem to find any other places to look, when I know there are millions of places to live in Orange county. Any advice?

Granted I'm in Arizona, but still.

eh, I grew up in LA and I dislike it. I enjoy real cities that arent so choked by automobile culture and so incredibly sprawled out. I enjoy areas that werent designed in post-WWII America like NYC, Chicago, San Francisco. I think southern california is a dump and the only good thing about the area is the weather and the ocean. That is all.

Dude...SoCal is the fucking shit! Once I get my shit straight and money saved I will be moving to Downey (Southern LA) soon. If you can't find a suitable place in SoCal to live, then you don't belong dude....really! I think SoCal is the easiest, most laid-back place to live in the fucking US today! SoCal has so many opportunities, not only career wise, but also whatever you put your mind to...let me know if you need to find some hot spots in SoCal...I have plenty of old connects who are still in SoCal livin' it up! Have fun!

Six? It seems like a lifetime, or at least a main era - -the kind of peak that never comes again. San Francisco in the middle sixties was a very special time and place to be a part of. Maybe it meant something. Maybe not, in the long run, but no explanation, no mix of words or music or memories can touch that sense of knowing that you were there and alive in that corner of time and the world. Whatever it meant." Hunter S. Thompson.

have you actually lived in the area...or just visited? I did my time there and my conclusion after many years is southern california is an arm pit.

leigh county is a nice area. I live in northern Montgomery. I have a cousion who goes to school out there. Your close about an hour away from Philly or Nyc, and nice and close to the middle of nowhere.
