There's a very good chance I won't make it to Ohio...I might be involved in a project that weekend.

There's gonna be a concert in my girlfriend's backyard, with three awesome NYC bands, and I'm getting together a film crew to immortalize the event.

Perhaps not but...I have a bigger creative itch than I do a hang out itch. i've been making nothing, man. Nothing. And this is an opportunity for me to do something that is my dream...to film live music. Bands that I love too.

With 3 or 4 cameras, a full day event, stacks of tapes, tripods, lights, interviews! It will be amazing.

Yeah... a gathering would be pretty sweet about now.

Oh well, in good time I'm sure.

It's too cold to camp right now.

If anybody wants to volunteer their abode, feel free to step forward

also, phluck, I checked the pinery... if you want to book a spot for the end of august, right now is the perfect time to do it.

You're more than welcome to but by attending as my guest you automatically sign up for a spot on the film crew.

I'll PM you the dates when they're confirmed.

Don't worry, I'll just assign you random party coverage duty.

The event, since the main band is the Big Sleep, is gonna be known as The Big Sleepover.  It's gonna be a full day of barbecue, badminton, maybe even a jumping castle, followed by at least Sam Champion and probably another band opening for The Big Sleep.

In a backyard.

With a trampoline.

And a shih tzu.

Yeah, fer sure. Don't worry I was gonna tell you all about this - it's still in the initial planning stages. You do digital photos and also some camera work and we'll be golden. I'm trying to get Larry up from Pitt.
