can someone make this clearer?

I've read that the mushrooms that we grow have more potency than the ones found in wild. But I also read that BRF mushies are weaker than manure ones.
So far I have only tripped with cow poo shrooms from a pasture that's always covered with them after a good rain, and they never let me down, even in small doses - when it rained in my town, 80km away, and not where it should have.

I'll inoculate a few BRF cakes this Saturday, but I have this question: will they be as good as those I used to eat? Well, although BRF shrooms are weak are they still stronger than the ones that have to spend a lot of energy surviving not optimal conditions in the wild, etc, not considering strain variations or particular cases?

I've always felt that BRF produced stronger than wild shrooms, but obviously manure beats them both. That's not to say that BRF is weak. When this hobby started and that's all that was available, BRF shrooms provided some hectic trips for my friends and I.

Glad to know.
It'll be fine for me.

Same to outdoor little guys? If they're cubies, of course, and on manure/wood chips still gonna be pretty strong?

just my 2 cents, ive not noticed any potency difference between my brf and poo shrooms. ive only done 2 brf cakes before since casings are so much more effective for me, so the sample comparison is relativly small.

there still isnt conclusive evidence one way or the other due to the inconsistant nature of mushrooms. mushrooms potency has been proven to vary by 400% within a single flush, and up to 1000% off the street (from dealers)... just something to consider.
