some of my pins finally poked out the bottom.Upon inspecting and admiring i tipped one over and it was completely covered with pins on the bottom. My question is if i get an abort in one of cakes and its in the bottom this would fuck up the rest of the cake?Should i check the others and tip them over to make sure this isn't happening on the others?
Or should i let it be?There like at least 8-10 pins maybe more all on the bottom what if its like that for the others. little help pleas.

Are your cakes on perlite directly? That could be why pinsets are on the bottom. Are there pins anywhere else on the cake? If the pins are on the bottom, flip the cake over and put something between the perlite and cakes--if that is your set-up. As far as aborts, just keep your eyes open. If it stops growing and the head turns brown, get it off there--dead fungal flesh. GL.

no i have them on the lids and that sits on the perlite. There are no pins anywhere else.I was just concerned about the abort. I think the reason this happened was because i had a florescent light only 3 feet away from my FC which dried the air out making the the bottom perfect for pining. :frown:

so yeah... just flip'em and hopfully they won't abort...
you should be keeping an eye out for hidden aborts, you don't want them to rot on the cakes.

enjoy!
