My recommendation is not to wash your leafs with water prior extraction, you will probably loose some salvinorin. Use chilled acetone (~0 C), and cover the crushed or grinded leafs with acetone and stir it for about a minute each wash. You should wash it 2-4 times. Evaporate or destill the combined acetone and solve it in some new acetone that you pour over some dried crushed leafs.

You dont need reagent grade acetone, just make sure your acetone dont contain any oils or stuff that dont evaporate.

But if you mix the leafs with the acetone and chill it together, shouldn't you get a lot of extra wax then? Why not chill them one by one?

wuzzup with the deleting the post?

i think chilling one by one was the idea that Dnumde had.
ahh well, i guess ill just blame my ADD and move on the next question:

how exaxtly does that work with the wax and cold n stuff?
could i simply evap the acetone and start over?
