i just ride my bicycle everywhere. i'm not large or bulky by any stretch, but am pretty much all sinew and muscle. :shrug: working out for the sake of it seems dull to me.

yeah, stretching kicks ass. i just started trying different yoga position, stretches, and meditations last week, and i can already feel my head trying to screw itself on straight. just a little peace and quiet every day makes a difference.

I suggest putting your money into some supplements like whey protein shake mix creatine as mentioned earlier etc. Putting a hundred or so dollars into supplements really makes you regret missing those workouts!

Also: take pictures now and monthly so you can really see your progress. If you see yourself everyday your not going to notice as much without pictures. This at least has helped me with my training.

It takes time. I've been working out 5 times a week lately, and still haven't completely lost my beer gut. The trick is to keep to a regular routine. You should see results in about 6-8 weeks.

Usually about 20 minutes on the Nautilus machines, then 30 minutes on the treadmill.

Total. My focus right now is more on weight loss than muscle gain.
