I would like to spawn my colonized wbs to poo but I'm having trouble finding a tek. Can someone help me out? Another problem...where can I find poo in a city?

duddde poo is so easy. the easiest way I have found to pasteruize it is to take buy a styrafoam cooler and a thermometer. Then boil the water to about 175 degrees. Take that water and put it in the styrafoam cooler with the poo. The poo needs to be weighted down so it wont float. Close the top and wait an hour. The poo is pasteurized!!!! Spawning is easy as well. Just take your wbs and break it up in the poo and mix it. Make sure everything is sterilized, spray and the air with lysol and what not. common sense not hard at all. poo is the way to go. as far as finding poo in a city i have no idea. try and go to tennstud if you cant find any.

I place the poo in a pillow case, put that in a pot, cover with water, add a big rock to keep it from floating, stick a meat thermometer in and heat to 145-150. Maintain temps for 1-1.5 hours and pull the bag out.
Note: be sure not to let the end of the pillow case hang over the side of the pot, it will wick water all over your stove rather quickly

rahz, thanks for the info, again. the end note was a good call...that's something I would've overlooked. Hey rahz, this is my first time I am sure you know already. After about 3 or 4 batches of quart jars and ALOT of contam probs I have 9 jars that are colonized very nicely. 3 of which are ready to case and the others need a few more days. Plus I got some honey water with some chunky cocaine-like stuff floating around, assuming its the myc. Another 15 jars waiting for innoc. Now I have to worry about contams inside my greenhouse...there's only so much a HEPA can do... Well anyways...I'd be honored if you could take a look at my jars.

Roadkill's Poo prep pictorial. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/723303/an/0/page/5
Oven bag pasteurization. (I think it's way cleaner then the pillow case. You can put it in a pot of boiling water like with a pillow case if you want. It's a bit quicker then the oven.) http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/23705
If your in the city you need to go for a drive. Or you can order poo from tennstud. I'd get the dry unpasteurized and pasteurize it myself. You get more that way. Why ship a bunch of water?

wow roadkill's tek is very straightforward. good job roadkill. now the fun part...getting poo. i might luck out at some nurseries around here. i am not getting a car until next week so i guess i have to case my wbs with coir and verm for now...no poo. unless i can use cow manure in the meantime. if cow manure is alright to spawn to and is more productive than wbs alone with casing, then i should use the shit...right? Or I can follow a cop's horse around the park for a few hours...pooper scooper in one hand bag in the other. Oh man that would be funny.
