Does anyone know how one might acquire some Marasmius oreades spores? Some local hippie chicks are planning to get a faerie ring going in some hidden glade they found somewhere, and that's the sort of thing I'd like to help out with.
Does anyone know? and aren't they beautiful?? http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Marasmius_oreades.html Clitocybe nuda would be cool too http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Clitocybe_nuda.html

could be SKB, those are beautiful. They look a bit more stoic than the ones in the image I'm using as a reference, but those ones probably had more water and time to mature or something along those lines...
Do you know a place I could find spores for those online? And to you other helpful folk, when is the in-season of these beauties?

I have no idea what strain, we got some rain and cool temps today and I looked out in the graveyard and there was a big ring of them. Most were dry or rotted this was the only worth while one. If you do want a print I am making one and will be willing to send it to you or trade for a cube print if you have any.

www.mycoshack.com offers Lepista nuda culture syringes. www.fungi.com sells outdoor patches of the same. pretty sure www.sporeworks.com have Lepista as well.
Fairy rings you'll have to find in the wild, methinks. Or try a Type Culture Collection.
I'm gonna get a Blewitt patch going this spring, I'm really looking forward to it! TMC has a section devoted to them. Basically grain -> sawdust/woodchip spawn -> outdoor beds of yard waste/chips. Good luck, wish the hippies well!
