Yet another aspect of the name changes
    #5482701 - 04/05/06 12:27 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

Before the admin/mod drunk name changing fiasco, I went by Toad_Stool. I worked hard to get my registered name changed to that. If the drunk name changing is going to go on, then I don't mind, however I don't feel that this will be the case because of so many butt-hurts. Since I assume it is an extinct task, I would like to be changed back to the name I got changed to originally.

I know there are also others who have had this done.

What's a "readable" color? Why do we even have the option of making posts in colors if you don't consider them "readable?"

The default color(=no color) is readable in every skin.

Ah, gotcha.

Anyway I'd also like to chime in saying I think his request is valid. Lots of people had their names changed a long while ago, between their original registration and the recent drunken name changes, and it only seems fair to me to not force them back to square one.

GratefulJim should be Jim,LOL and Toad_Stool_99 should be Toad_Stool.

Those are my 2 cents.

Yeah but it wasn't whimsical.  It was actually rooted in big life changes, and the idea of his username being somewhat misrepresentative of him.  Jim's got a shitty lot in life right now, and having his name changed to Jim,LOL was important to him and helped cheer him up.

All names should be done away with. Everyone should be identified by their member number.
