Yes, but the tests still discriminate against something that you did on YOUR OWN TIME, not THEIRS. They are still crossing the line; nothing you can say will change that fact.

In the UK, who pays for the recovery and loss of pay an employee suffers through if they get hurt on the job?
Here, we have WORKERS COMPENSATION. The companies here pay on insurances that will pay for injuries that may be sustained from work related accidents. But, unless you DT your employees, they wont accept you as a customer, opening you (the company) up to possible Court cases in the future.
Its nothing personal, the companies are just protecting their ass'.

O.K. so here's the deal... and please, please don't be afraid to give input (sans ethical debate of drug testing ):
I have not smoked in 30 days, YAY GO ME, and just took my 9th or 10th home drug test. The difference with this most recent home test is that the red line for negative tests (which is absent when the urine sample is positive) is BLATANTLY present
I "think" I passed a few a week ago, but I really wanted the reassurance of a deep red line - and I finally got it!
So tomorrow, on my 31st day of sobriety I plan on going in there and pissing a clean stream (I'm not going to dilute or mess around or anything) and then sparking the biggest joint of ak-48 immediately after
If I fail, then there is absolutely no way this job was meant to be. There are endless possibilities in this world and I'll just go with the flow - but I think I'll pass
So in summing up this ecstatic ramble - I am going to buy two tests tomorrow and try them in the morning. If I pass both, I am going to drive myself right into Boston and piss the living hell outa the place
Thanks so much for all of your help- there were times I certainly didn't think I could do it... but it feels so damn good to be able to piss clean on my own

Congrats man! You definitely deserve it.

It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation, and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A Prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded." -- Abraham Lincoln, 1840.

In the back of most drug stores like CVS. They are usually next to the pregnancy tests in front of the pharmacy. Also you can order online. Just do a google for home drug tests.

Congratulations! The exercise helped, but drinking all of that was a waste. Drinking lots of water will not cause you to lose the fat cells that contain the THC metabolites. Drinking water is used ussually the day of a test, so your urine is diluted.
You could have kept smoking, and used the method in my sig, it works every time.

TurricaN said: I disagree. It IS unreasonable. I've never heard of any company asking a new employee to drop videogames for a month. I've never heard of any copmany asking a new employee to drop TV for a month. I've never heard of any company asking a new employee to drop alcohol for a month. Why should weed be any different?
I wouldn't say everyone gets bitchy if they don't smoke for a couple of days. Hell, I usually only smoke, at most, once a week. I have a friend who smokes daily though and does get bitchy if he doesn't have any though. Everyone is different.
Well apparently things are different where you live. Here, its not a matter of what you do on your own time, but what you could possibly be doing on THEYRE time. Sorry boss. I didnt mean to drive the forklift into the wall, I was just blazed from the lunchtime blunt. Also, the main reason they do it here, is because of pressure from the companies insurance policies.
lol
does anyone know if you have to send those at home drug kits back in the mail?

No, but if they come up positive you can send it to the company free of charge (minus postage) and they'll perform an additional lab analysis on it.
