I went a little LC happy and made oh about 400cc of LC of different strands. My WBS jars will be 3/4 the way fill (Pint Jars) What would you say is the most LC i can put in each. And do you think by putting in more it will colinise faster?

Too much will throw off your water content. I put 1 1/2 - 2cc in each of my pint jars. I've put 3cc in before and didn't have a problem but I could see it sitting in the bottoms of my jars a bit.

It depends, sometimes if you add too much you can throw off the water ratio in the jars, making it too soggy, resulting in slow colonization. If the jars are looking wet, you probably shouldn't go overboard. It is probably best to go lightly with the LC and wait a little longer for them to colonize rather than loading them up with LC and causing the whole thing to fail.
You could always set up an experiment since you have mountains of LC at your disposal- knock some jars up with varied amounts, label, and watch to see what performs the best. Good luck.

sounds like a good idea, i will do a varity because i used honey, kero & Vanalla extract. I will see what one dose best and see how many cc do the best. At worst i will just lose some time and some brid seed that i buy for $10 for 40 lbs thanks guys

i think it was agar that told me that when you want to add a lot of LC all you have to do is put some verm in the container before you pc. Not much just enough to soak up as much water equal to the the amount of LC you will put in. To find out how much you need, take a syringe and fill it with water equal to the amount of lc you will put in the WBS. Squirt this on the verm and you will know how much verm it will take to soak it up.

I use 140ml per large spawn bag. A large spawn bag is about 1 gallon of substrate or 8 pints (17.5 ml per pint). I make sure to make a mix a tiny bit on the dry side (not much) so not to have excessive moisture in the final mix. A bag like that fully colonizes in five to eight days every time.
