Im not speakimg from personal experience with the subjest, but I think it would br reasonable to assume that this would most likely confuse the fruits and cause them to abort. If anyone knows for sure, I too would like to know

my understanding is that pinning or growth on the sides isnt risk for aborts it is risk for contams, shrooms under the dirt die and rot. as far as the tin foil it might be too late but I would give it a try you cant hurt anything.

Probably too late for tin foil.... I would just watch them and if the begin to look aborted VERY CLEANLY remove them... you could probably try recasing if needed... good luck

I have had that problem many times. I am dealing withg it right now. I carefully stuck a clean fork into my casing layer and pulled the cased myclium up and titlted the casing on its side in my container allowing the fatties to grow. I have about 50 pins on the side when I pulled it up and was able to save a lot of them. I have some big fruits coming up that would have otherwise not made it under the casing on the sides. Although your yield will decrese tremendously.....you might want to di, save these fruits, harvest and then try to revitalize your casing to get them to fruit from the casing layer itself. I have concluded that it is from a high humidity when the casing pulls away from the sides of the container due to a dry casing layer. I assume yours has pulled away since you can see the fruits coming in down there. Try that to save those and then I would dunk the casing, re case it and give it a good misitng.

hey cheesy, what do you mean? i dont quit understand what you have sone. the container is clear(this is my problem) and it is pulling away slightly but hardly. i can see the mushies through the container not because its pulling away. id like to try and save this casing but i have already recased this puppy once and i dont wanna fuck it all up.
