What a glorious monday it was...*PICS

The hunt began around 5pm at my favorite field in Katy. I hopped the fence and laid eyes on these beauties immediately.

No sooner did I finish cutting those did I turn around and bump into this mound of happiness.

I hunted for about an hour and these are what became of that adventure.

2 days I went on a hunt and found about 40 caps and noticed dozens of other pins so I decided to come back today. I should have gone yesterday to pick them before they got dry but I figured I would give it a day and not push my luck too much.
Can't wait till I start finding the copes, that's going to be great. I hope the rest of you houstonians and east texans are getting as lucky if not luckier than I. It's a great feeling when my eyes spot growth like the second 2 pictures I must say.
Anyhow, good luck everyone and be safe on those hunts.
Peace Love

Every day has been about 80+ with the humidity at 65%+ and at night 70+ with 90%+ humidity. It rained for hours 4 or 5 days ago so that's why I'm still getting growth. The field has water puddles all throughout it.

I saw numerous pins growing but I figured I would be pushing my luck if I kept going everyday.
If I would have gone sunday as well I would have found even more. Oh well, I'm happy with these. On top of it all I'm finally learning how to take decent pics with my camera.

That looks like the Cadillac of harvests! I was in Houston last year looken for them and only found about 9 or 10 in a nonstop 3 month daly field check. I was relay close to NASA. Nice one:)

Nice find!
Houston is doing better than the places I go south of there. Just went today and found a few where there are usually tons....

However, when you transcend all this pre-conditioning by returning to the original wisdom of the animal body, then you discover this immense dimension of opportunity. For some people, it is a frightening risk. To me, that's the psychedelic experience." Terence McKenna

I firmly believe once it rains again and the temps rise a little more the fields will resemble a wave of mushroooms across the landscape.

Nice. Here in the Mushroom Capital of the World (Gainesville, FL) the weather is perfect and I know the fields must be ripe...all we need now is some rain!
