hunting in MD. when to start and what to look for?!

well im going to be looking for some shrooms in MD. ide like to know what types i should be looking for and how much longer should i wait before i go out and start looking? i know i gotta wait till it rains, but im wondering what months i should start looking. thanks for any and all help.

yea but i was looking for more specific Maryland. they dont list MD, and most mushrooms are found northeast. thinking maybe someone from MD who has found a particular species around here could help me.

Spring-Fall, you can find panaeolus subbalteatus in Maryland. It's too early to look as of yet. I've found that the best month to start in that area is may.
To find more habitat specific info out about it, research the species name.
you should be able to find everything you need pretty easily.

thanks i think i found like a shit load of them last year, but isnt there another shroom that looks extremely similar? i never ate any, but this year i plan to.
