Back pains and urban legends

it seems like every time i trip on shrooms i get lower back pain. its not stabbing, just a constant pain. its almost like a burning pain. has anyone else had this happen?
also, i'd like to use this post to disspell a few urban myths that everyone can feel free to comment on to let me know if they're true or not. i am of the opinion that all of these are not true, i just want to make sure.
1. Shrooms make your brain swell and/or bleed 2. The reason you get visuals is becaue the psylocin is dripping behind your eyeballs 3. Ecstacy (or acid) makes the fluid in your spine run backwards 4. Ecstacy puts holes in your brain (actually i think this one is true, but im still not sure.) 5. When you eat shrooms, the only reason you trip is because your body is fighting is the "poison" from the shrooms. 6. Shrooms and acid make blood drop on your spine
someone please end this speculation for me, all my friends keep saying this and i just want to make sure i can prove this wrong before i make an asshat out of myself.
thanks in advance for answering some noob questions

I haven't tripped since my recent back issues, but I have heard of this from many others about the severe lower back pain after tripping.
I'm sure someone here can elaberate more for ya.

come on, psylocin dripping behind your eyeballs? Even if that happened, what makes you think you can see whats going on behind your eyes? Those are all myths man, I can't comment on the back pain thing though.

Back pain most likely arises from being tense and nervous. It isn't from the direct effects of the drug.

yeah, I think the "Holes in the brain" are just interpreted from scans, in actuality I think its just the brain function in the locations being shown.

ecstacy does not put holes in the brain. Extended heavy use leaves portions of the brain temporarily inert in terms of electromagnetic activity. These temporarily inert regions show up as 'holes' in PET scans. But the brain matter is still there, and its function can be restored.

I dont see how sombody could think that blood dripps onto your spine what the hell does it have to 'drip' off of?
What is making you trip is just the fact that you ate poisonous mushrooms these certain mushrooms have the poison is must likely to keep animals from eating them and such ,While you are poisoning yourself when you eat them or anyother drug. It just dosent seem right to refer to them as poison when they are so great, thats why there called Magic Mushrooms
"Wanna eat some poison mushrooms!"

Seems like a big stupid mistake to make. "Oops I accidentally labeled methamphetamine as MDMA". Probaly paid off yeah.

sorry, i really dont know. they're dried if that helps. i can post pics of the ones i've been eating lately and you can try to identify them. sorry for the quality, they're a little blurry.

that's 4 grams and the cap alone weighed 2.4 grams. i ate it by itself and it fucked me up real good. also, these shrooms had golden flakes all over them.

I ate this eigth on my 20th birthday.
can anyone identify these?

Yeah, those are Cubensis.
The reason I asked is I'm not too bad with cubes but if I've taken wood lovers (Azurescens, Cyanescens etc) it feels like I've been kidney punched by Tyson

I have had the pain with shrooms and acid... i don't know what it is... i agree with the tension thing but not quite sure... i wouldn't be surprised if it had something to do with spinal nervous system but i'd really like to know WHY.

I can say from my experience that whenever I get back pains during or after a trip it's because of the activities I partake in while on the drug, not the drug itself.
Olney's lesions from MDMA are a myth, as stated above, any "holes" in the brain of those test mice were caused by methamphetamine.
and also stated above, the rest are false, and while were at it, so is the myth that you can only test for LSD with a spinal tap.

LSD actually has a half life in the body that is much shorter than the trip itself...I think half of it is gone in about two hours after you ingest it...or something like that.
