96 grams/ml of water and 4 grams/ml of honey. mix and pressure cook for 20 minutes at 15 psi.
of course you will need a filter of some sort.
least possible contams you want a glove box.

do you have any links. Im confused as the procedure while innoculating. What ive taken so far is that you have a tyvek around the jar, then the container with a drilled hole stuffed with polyfil. Is that basically correct? There will be enough oxygen getting to the mycelium?

look up agar's LC lid. you don't want tyvek with a LC.

Ive been using the tape agar uses. Its great. You tape up both drilled holes. Before yo inoculate wipe down needle with alcohol then poke throught one of the holes and then retape the same hole you inoculated. Then cover with with a couple of coffee filters then rubberband. You can use the tyvek but the tape has never failed me yet.

LC lids that don't leak
Agar's LC lids, I made some for my recent LC's. Works great, and it's real easy to put together.

pint jar. drill 1/8" hole near the edge. Place micropore tape over it.
add: a 1" sqaure rock or marble or steel bolt. 1 cup water. 1 small tsp of honey
PC 20minutes @ 15PSI.
Let cool COMPLETELY.
Flame spore needle RED HOT. wrap in alcohol soaked pad.
Insert needle into pint jar through the micropore tape that is covering the 1/8" hole.
Push plunger to release desired amount of spores(2cc's is fine).
Remove needle from jar, place another layer of micropore tape over the hole.
Incubate LC.
It's not rocket science. Just start giving it a try.

yup. It's been tried and works fine. A friend of mine uses the square ones with the sticky all the way around it.

And, they finally came out with silver treated bandaids, which helps keep contams at bay.

If a band-aid can be used in this case (and I assume you mean the beige colored sticky part of the band-aid with the real tiny holes all over it...) could that be used on grain/pf jars as well instead of polyfill or tyvek?
