I was looking at this website and apparently they sell amanitas. Maybe this is common knowledge, but is that legal? Should I try ordering some? How do their effects compare to cubes?

They don't have anything to do with one another, but they both have something to do with amanitas.
Just google the words "amanita viking urine" and you get an Erowid result.

you probably wouldn't like amanitas. most people don't. they aren't like cubensis at all.

aminitas are legal to purchase, can kill you in high enough dosage.
red amanitas aren't the same genus or species as psilocybe cubensis, and don't produce psilocybin/psilocin. aminitas produce ibotenic acid, muscimol, & a slew of other chemicals, so comparing the 2 mushrooms would be irrelevant.

Unfortunately the Vikings had nothing to do with Amanita eating or drinking. The theory was disproven years ago. I have a pers. comm. fromthe late Dr. R. E. Schultes of harvard that he said the theory was liong disproven. So the viking story is false.

Of course, many sites will still insist it is true, expecially by people who are not scholars.
