Should I trip with my girlfriend? (she has epilepsy)

Okay, here is the situation. I will get to the question that I want to ask at the end of this.
I am almost 23 years old, and I have tripped a few times now in the last year or so. It's awesome. I love it. It's my thing if you catch my drift . I love every second of it, and I am beginning to connect the dots in a lot of facets in my life due to mushrooms (spirituality, lifestyles, etc). And I've only ever feel like I need to trip every 3 months or so it's not like I am addicted or anything (although it's very hard to see my life in the years to come without tripping every so often). Anyways, take that as you will, it's not really that important.
My girlfriend however, cannot trip. She has epilepsy and from what I know about it and have read about it, any type of chemical altering agent (alcohol, stress induced brain chemicals, drugs, etc) can send her into a seizure. In her condition, she has a random absonse (sp?) seizure every 2-3 weeks. She has accepted it and deals with it pretty well, and I think she is the strongest and most mature person I have ever met for dealing with what she has.
Anywho, my question is, I would really like to trip sometime and have her with me and do all of you think that would be a good idea? Granted none of you know here like I do, so it's hard for you to really give me an honest opinion, but try to put yourself in my shoes. All I really want to do is share some time with her while tripping: going for a summer walk, do some paintings/drawings, just cuddle, etc. Sex does not interest me in the least in case you all were wondering.
I just want to be around her while I am tripping because she is a very important person in my life and makes me smile whenever I see her. And I feel like having her there would be a very cool experience.
I am worried though that my trip might go for the worse and I would be worried about her the whole time because of the threat of her seizuring while I was tripping. I don't know if I could live with myself if while i was getting "fucked up" she was having a seizure.
Anyways, I am ranting. I think I laid out my question/concerns fairly well.
Thanks all, Matt
PS: she is actually pretty cool with drugs in general (mushrooms are the only thing I do, I don't drink or smoke) and I think she respects the fact that they do help me see and cast a different light on my life at times...so yeah, maybe tha

Okay. Thanks for the quick reply. I think I just needed some extra support in making the decision because I feel so strongly both ways.

I dont see a problem with it. I thought It was going to be "should I give her mushrooms?" or something stupid.
Being around her when you are tripping : sure
Her tripping with you : no way!

while her seizures are random it sounds like there fairly irregular which is definatly good. se whont be dosing which is absolutly good. as long as shes aware that your going to act strangly and isnt going to worry about you(chemical change) it should be safe. she seems to do well for herself then i dont think theres anything wrong. if your truly concerned have a 3rd party prehaps a neutral friend who wont be tripping to chill with you make a day of it or something. anyways as i said aslong as it doesnt bother her that your high it shouldnt be an issue.

I think this is a decision you need to clarify within yourself and not others! Ask anyone what you should do is still not going to justify your enevitable thoughts of worrying about her when your tripping. So take as long as you need to go over with yourself and her as well that everything is going to be alright...remember it is up to you and you only if it is a good idea, not anyone else.
Sounds like you love this girl a lot, cherish her and do what is best for her and everything will be alright.
Good luck, be safe and most importanly be smart!

i think it would be great for you to trip with her if you both want it.
if her seizures only come with a gap a couple/few weeks between, i would say to do it fairly soon after one of her seizures. i cant imagine how scared i would be if i were tripping and saw some1 having a seizure.

listen bro if she has epilepsy then she has random seizures if you dose you run the risk of her having one while youre tripping if you cant live with yourself if she has a seizure while youre messed up then dont do it. itll fuck up your trip and itll fuck up your mentality. i know you want to trip and be with her but the only way i see it happening is if you have someone else there incase she does have a seizure. otherswise bro, go it alone

I realize this, but I still felt compelled to find any information I could. Perhaps someone out there has been in the same predicament?

She has absonse (spelling?) seizures. She feels sort of shitty (pressure in her brain, headaches, loss of balance) for about 5-10 minutes then starts stuttering when speaking and she starts losing track of her thoughts. At this point she is already seizuring basically. Then she starts convulsing for about 30-40 seconds.

I would lay her down somewhere safe (the ground, a bed, couch, etc). Turn her on her side and watch her carefully, and make sure that nothing was obstructing her breathing. If she is still seizuring after 2 min or so I would call the paramedics.

I would just suggest someone else comes along too in case she has a seizure. Or maybe if you're tripping indoors, just have somebody else around in your house that you can go get if she has a seizure, that way it can still feel like just you and your girlfriend, but you have backup in case of trouble.

I would clear it with her first. This is not something any of us, or even yourself can answer. Only she can. If she is fine with it, then you need to ask yourself if you will be fine with it, knowing she made that choice. Things can always happen when tripping that are bad. What if your tripping somewhere and shes alone somewhere else, she doesnt have you or anyone for help if something goes wrong..its no different if your in the same place but your "somewhere" else in your head and cant do anything..
Unless she cant be by herself anytime, then she shouldnt be by herself alone with you. As far as I know though, the seizures are fairly harmless and she could take care of herself mostly. It definatly might fuck up your trip a little if it happened, however if it didnt, it would be a very wonderful and powerful experience. Especially when it gets to the bed..its difficult if your tripping to hard, but comming down, or on a low dose, sex with a serious girlfriend is freaking awsome on acid.

It's a matter of personal experience. My girlfriend has numerous problems as a result of a growth on her brain stem (we're not sure if it's cancerous or not yet) and has a HELL of a lot of strange random problems. Convulsing, hallucinations, the eye jitters as I call them, not sure of the technical term, puking. I tripped with her around last month and it was fan-friggin'-tastic and went well.
I think what matters most is whether or not you can handle yourself on shrooms. I find it easier to operate in public on shrooms than I do on weed and I'm usually the voice of reason when a friend starts to twig out, even when we're ALL fucked up. So I know I would be able to handle a hospital. If you're not sure if you can do that, either get someone else with you as well who is sober or just don't do it.
Heh, that reminds me. She had an episode while I was tripping balls on morning glory. That was interesting, and involved a silent thunderstorm and my rooftop. But I won't get into that.
