All fighter's stupid attitudes aside...
arlovski (of course, no competition in UFC) probably ortiz probably diaz don't care don't care don't care parisyan (has potential in my opinion) yeah pride is better
still haven't watched bushido 10...i can't wait till this evening! go hansen!
(and i'm more excited about pride's openweight tournament than ufc 59 but of course, being an mma fan i'll still watch ufc :P)

just to clarify before explaining...these are my opinions, i'm sure some might disagree with what i say...
well first and foremost, there are better all round fighters from all over the world in pride. in ufc, the only real talent is in the light heavyweight (chuck liddel and not much else) and welterweight (matt hughes & st. pierre) classes. in pride, you've got the best heavyweight in the world (fedor emilianenko), if you were to match up arlovski and emilianenko it's no doubt that fedor would kick his ass. pride's got wanderlei silva in the light heavyweight division (possibly chuck liddel could be a good opponent - he's gotten better but who knows) and pride's got a good lightweight division which ufc doesn't have...at the moment takanori gomi is the belt holder..though there are other talented lightweights in pride such as hansen...
second, it's more interesting to watch - take for example, knees to the head and head stomps are allowed in pride..in UFC only elbows to the head are allowed, which arguably can lead to a boring watch cause of doctor stopages of matches due to cuts above the eye.
third, less corporate bullshit in pride...when you watch a pride event you don't have to sit there watching xyience and deoderate and shitty movie promotions. it's all about the fighting not the sponsorship.
in another thread skorpio had pasted a youtube.com link to some pride KOs..i suggest you watch that and judge for yourself which is more interesting..pride or ufc.

he still holds the belt and that's his first lost in pride...otherwise, he's still a good fighter...just as how i think hansen has quite a big chance in getting hte belt in the next tournament
but i forgot to add...
with pride, they're having an open weight tournament in may. this being said, they don't have this in the UFC...depending on how they match up the fighters for hte open weight tournament...this opens up new possibilities with MMA...i can't wait
