Yield

I've read some threads on yield and it seems to be a bit of a taboo subject. I realize that a grow could yield a lot and it could yield nothing at all if I'm not careful. But what has the experience been of growers on this subject?
Not looking for a promise, just an idea of how much I should spend to achieve a given amount of end-product.
I plan on starting with the tried-and-true psilocybe cubensis b+.
Thanks much in advance for any insight.

PS: I posted this earlier but got no replies; anyone know how many posts you must make before you can see growlogs?

It depends on about 20 diffrent things. It mostly depends with how much experiance you have growing. Everytime I grow I get a better and better yeild.

The VARIABLES are so wide, it is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to estimate yields.
Even two folks in differing places, using about the same everything, can have a huge difference in yields. Simply because of some tiny variable, or combinations of multiple tiny variables.
B/E with bulk substrates (under optimal conditions) can range from 100 to 400%.
Meaning, 10 dry lbs of optimal substrate under good conditions will get you 10 lbs of fresh fruits (wet weight) @ 100% B/E.
I often get 250 to 400% B/E from cased bulk substrate trays.

Thanks for all the replies. I think I have a ballpark idea of what I can expect (likely little to start off, more as I become more proficient).
