It's probably just your strain or something. I don't really know of anything that you could do to fix the problem. If there were anything I would go with a deeper substrate. But other than that I think you might want to try a new strain.

Hmm I was reading in a post a person wanted thin stems and they said to lower the FAE. Increased CO2 increases the thinness of your stems. So try to up your FAE.

How big is your fruiting chamber and what are you using for FAE. You best bet would be to leave that airpump on all the time if it is small.

If you have thin stems it sounds like Co2 buildup. It may also be your temps, I had a casing at really low temps before and got small, thin stemmed zooms.

substrate depth doesnt matter really..here is proof..this is a 1/4 inch deep..LOL just something i had left over..thats why i got it...
