They all take several years to grow, if you're looking for an easy high buy incense.

Mushrooms are relatively easy to grow and grow very fast (at least compared to cacti). I don't know you but by reading your post it seemed like you wanted a cactus you could grow very quickly. BTW growing cacti is extremely rewarding and I would really recommend it, just don't expect for them to be ready for consumption for quite a while.

I have some San Pedros which are doing very well, they are quite resilient, I've been told they can survive in temps as low as -5 although I wouldn't try it.
Peruvian Torch are supposedly more potent and look quite similar to San Pedro, I don't have any but will be planting seeds within weeks.
Bridgessi are also very nice cacti and are fairly easy to grow. Peyote is difficlt to grow, very slow growing and may be illegal where you live. Personally I would not consume any of my cacti, I just like having them.
You should have a look at the cactus forum at thenook.org or do some reading in our Ethnobaotanical Garden forum.

San Pedro grow about a foot or so a year. If you're lucky, you might find one at Home Depot or Target.

if I found one at home depot, I would just roll around on the floor laughing uncontrolably.

if you order dried cactus 'incense' you are helping cacti become illegal.

they won't become illegal the amount of people doing it isn't near the amount of people it took before lsd became illegal and alot of people are more informed than they were back then take much safer doses and have a lower tendancy to get in trouble while using the drug so it won't become a problem unless your congressmans son got caught doing it =o)

Mescaline preparations are illegal, and those sites will eventually be shut down(would be my guess)..........(and many have been).
Thats why I never would buy dry cacti. I dont want that order sitting around on some database. SO I buy fresh cacti........ In that way its easier on the mind...

I had no idea it's legal to grow these cacti. I'm on a mission to do this now.

as far as I know, such preparations are not illegal everywhere. Is it only the US perhaps? In the UK dried cactus material is sold openly in shops - on the street, not just online. I agree though that buying fresh cactii is an all-round better option.

By fearing (thus condoning) unfair laws you're helping to keep all psychedelics illegal.
I suggest looking for a less backward point of view.
