Question on my setup *PICS*

So here is my setup. My question is how often should I run this ultrasonic humidifier. I really have no problem keeping the humidity at 95% with running the humidifier about 3 times a day for about 15 minutes. Is that not enough/too much? Any other helpful suggestions would be appreciated as well.

Well as long as it stays at 95% and dosn't exceed too much to where water droplets form on your casing you should be fine, if three times a day works I would use it. Since every setup is different I think the best way to be sure is to do test runs for a few days w/ temp and rh. By the way your setup looks nice!

how are you getting enough FAE? with a tub that size, it would make more sense to jsut ahve a cool mist running 24/7 and you probably wouldn't even need an ultrasonic. your humidity wouldn't be so high either I'm sure (if you can adjust it, even better).

It's only a ten gallon tub, I thought that was small compared to others poeples FC tubs? I open the lid a few times a day for FAE as well.

sounds like it will work fine, if your doing casings you might want to get the rh down o more around 90 though.

A buddy who gave me the mister also gave me a little setup made of 2 liter bottles for the mist to go thru. He told me that you don't want the mist to go directly on the cakes so the bottles was to make the mist almost non-existant but enough there to make high humidity. Should I be using the bottles? Were his acusations correct? The only reason that I doubt him is because he has never personally grown mushrooms, its always afoafoafoaf.
Shroom - I am doing cakes right now. What I've heard is that you want rH to be between 95% and 100%

Yes for cakes keep the RH where your at, Ive never read or heard about anyone using any bottles to reduce the mist.

I've heard of the bottles before, I've never used them but I've seen people talk about it here.
HSIHd, you misread my post. The part after the '?' is not part of the same sentence. My question about your FAE wasn't realated to the size of the tub. It's a comma, not a period/full stop.

Im using three bottles in a row with a ultrasonic right now... it still seems that there is too much H20 running through though, I oonly turn mine on manually maybe once or twice a day
