Damn I got a spec of cobweb

I went and took a peek at my caseing and saw a little white spot and at first thought oh good its pokeing through already in 1 day but at closer inspection it was not mycelium. Cobweb! So I took a sterile nail and dug it out and threw it out in the window and then sprayed my caseing with h202 water.
Should I be worried now?

You should have just hit it with a mild H202 mist - spurt. Then,or NOW increase your FAE.

The largest cause of cobweb is not enough FAE. Make sure it gets enough and you'll be fine. The stuff doesn't grow in fesh air it has to be stagnant. I have actually never encountered the dreaded cobweb. But at least it is easy to take care of.
Like agar said just spray that one spot with the H202 solution and increase your FAE and you shouldn't have a problem with it again.

If your casing layer didn't make it past the incubation stage without getting cobweb, re-evaluate your pasteurization process. You should be able to keep your casing closed up for a week to colonize without getting cobweb. Too low, or too hot a pasteurization temp will result in less resistance to molds, as will too high an incubation temp. Don't go over 80F.
As Agar said, spray with peroxide. You can use the 3% peroxide full strength in your mister. Cobweb spreads when you disturb it, so don't try to dig it out. RR

Oh and besides the fact it was just growing on the surface of the jiffy mix wich I pced for 20-30 minutes befor I used it and the cotton mold was only on the surface. When I dug it out it was just a flake of white fuzz on the top that was not there the previous day and It sure looked like a small bit of cotton mold to me. What ever it was it was growing and without the help of poo.
