Intresting Unadentified Mushroom with pictures

I was wondering if some one could help me identify this mushroom...
My best guess is that its a Amanita and if it is I still wouldn't have the saltiest Ida on what strain it is.
I found it next to a small river swamp type thing thats next to a bridge ware people are driving by and throwing beer and soda containers along with leftover McDonald's. there is also a small ranch up the hill with horses.
It has a 1 1/2 inch white/light brown pealy cap that opens up to be about 4 inches in diameter. The stem is Harlow with a fuzzy vane inside and elevates 4 inches. The stem bruises red after a few hours. The spores are black and runny.
If you have any ideas I would appreciate it.
These Pictures were taken in Sweetwater Texas on March 31, 2006

It is a coprinus, I'm hesitant to say it's Coprinus comatus. I think it more closely resembles Coprinus lagopus. Wait for some one more experienced with shaggy mane before you eat any.

Sorry, they are not psychoactive at all. Some are poisonous, some are of choice edibility.

Coprinus comatus or one of it's choice edible close relatives.
They are especially good dipped in egg, rolled in cracker crumbs, and sauteed in butter. Yummy!

I thought comatus although, i know not of lagopus. If you plan on consumption, dont ingest coprinus' and alcohol on the same day and quiet possibly a few days after. Also, unless its not obvious, dont consume old specimens with 'inky' spores. As for a recipe.. i just eat em sauteed with cracked pepper and salt on bread, the egg and breadcrumb recipe sounds better though.
EDIT: well that wasnt needed

Some places just aren't that good to consume wild mushrooms from. Pollution, litter, chemicals, and similar things can all effect the fungi of the area. For example, certain chemicals that may be found in the earth, which may have got there through means of pollution, can become concentrated by the mushroom. If it is eaten, the chemicals then can transfer into the body. I always try to be careful as to what areas I eat wild mushrooms from.
