a few problems

so i have these 4 casings, it is m,y 1st grow. I took them out of incubation and put them in the FC after patching them and it seems they have not colonized the area that i patched. Mabye thats b/c they were in my 72 degree room??
Anyways it looks like two of the cases are fruiting, but only a few pins. The pins seem to becoming right out of the dirt rather than out of white knots, is this normal? I put the entire fruting chamber outside in the 78-80 degree weather so i can get more colonization and hopefully more pins on my remaining cases. Will the increased temp ruin my pinset or is it ok out there?

First, what type of spawn material are you using? Did you spawn to hpoo or case the material straight? Humidity levels? Temperature? How long has it been since you initiated pinning?

Yes, this is fairly normal.
Don't worry so much about it colonizing the area you patched, it's ok. Bring it back inside and leave at your normal inside temps (opt. between 72 and 76).

wbs to 50/50 peat/verm with a lil lime. Humidity is right around 100% according to my acu rite hygrometer... but i fan so much so i am assuming that it is a little lower and the sensor is mabye wet?
I initiated pinning about 4 days ago for the peat/verm cases, and then i have another one that is pinning that is just wbs and verm, thats been in there about 10 days.
Also, after i put in the FC i think one of my cases started knotting and i patched this very lightly because i wanted the white to come in very evenly;.... this was probably not the brightest idea???

I doubt it will affect too much. Just let it sit and be patient. Not all 1st flushes will produce a lot...sometimes the later flushes' pinsets will surprise you.
Once pins have begun to break through, I'd reccomend dropping the humidity to between 87-92%, and try to keep it steady. If you have all 4 casings in one chamber, well, that may be a little difficult then.
So, no real problems for ya, sounds like you've got it mostly under control. Maybe someone else has an opinion on this matter, though. Good luck!

ok, it is back inside.
Do all the pins usually come up within the same day or is there still some home that i might get a good pinset??

i made another fc with lower humidity. it is just another plastic rubbermaid with perlite on the bottom and i will leave the lid open about 1" half way around. Hopefully this should get the humidity down to 90%. I will put the other casings in there when i feel i have a decent amount of pins to fruit.
here is everything, you can see that the peat/verm (larger ones) casings do not look too colonized, yet one has started to pin

you don't even need the perlite in there. That's probably why it's been at 100%. Casings create enough of a humid atmosphere in there alone. Those look really good so far, hope the rest continues that way.
