Math

Math is En Vogue!

I've taken:

4 Calculus Classes
4 Probability Classes
4 financial/statistical calculus
2 linear algebra
1 regression
1 differential equations

And I don't remember a darn tooting thing.

How about you?

3 calc
1 statistics
4 algebra/trig
2 logic (hey its like math  )

Im actually in calc 3 now, taking diff-eq over the summer, and mathmatical methods of physics next semister (the weed out class i hear)

I hated Diff. It was so infuriating to have single questions take 2 hours to do.

And I thought spending 45mins on some whack triple integral was bad! I have a test on triple integrals and the like on tuesday. They can be easy, but when you do them in polar cooridinates, or chage the order of integration it can get annoying.

I hear mixed things about diff eq, i dont think it will be too bad considering ill take it alone in the summer. You took ordinary diff eq right? I guess partial is alot harder. Differentials are cool things though, there was an earlier post were infinity was brought up and i immediatly thought of differentials.

I really liked core calculus everything else that branched off from it was just blah.

My diff prof did a single example that took three classes to complete one time. I was in partial for three days and decided to find a new course.

I think my fascination with math can all be traced back to donald duck and his crazy adventures in mathematic land

Partial differential equations really arent so bad if you get differential equations.  Then when they hit you with Fourier and Laplace Transforms, shit nigga, that shit is like :dancingshroom:

What I've always done in math classes is write programs in my Ti-83 calculator that have the equations I need and do the math for me. I can forget those equations entirely in under a week... if It wasn't for my quasi-cheating I'd still be stuck in second-year algebra.

I find your lack of faith disturbing
