Music To Trip To...
    #5465047 - 03/31/06 06:16 PM (17 years, 9 months ago)

I was just wondering what kind of music people here at the Shroomery listen to while they are tripping.  I am also looking for some new tunes to chill to when i am tripping.  Any suggestions or comments?

Here are some of my favorites...

Opeth - All Albums, preferably the more calm stuff
Tool - All Albums
A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms, Thriteenth Step, Passive off of eMotive
Pink Floyd - Darkside of the Moon, Echos
Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine, The Fragile, random other tracks
Days of the New - All Albums, Stoned Immaculate

Randoms Tracks - Dark Tranquility, Phish, Dave Matthews Band, any Classic Rock tunes, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Yonder Mountain String Band, Silverchair, Tantric, etc... :headbanger:

Sabbath is always fun to listen to while tripping.

Hmmm, what else...
Patsy Cline
Buddy Holly
John Denver
Hank William Senior

I am not sure why, but when I am tripping, I really really dig the twangy music. I just get in a mood and thats all I want to listen to.

Atari Teenage Riot - gooo digital hardcore, it acted as a nice bridge between punk and hardcore electronic music for me. Dont like them much anymore, but a bit too harsh/abrasive for my liking these day.
